It's easy to read but the writing is very straight forward and perhaps a little dry. I do wish there were more plates in the book but the ones that are there are nice and clear. Unfortunately if focuses mostly on 200 AD and beyond and I needed it for researc|About the Author|P. J. Casey has a degree in archaeology from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
