It's a brief, very well-written, chronological illustrated history of quilts styles as they evolved in Britain with many color photos of quilts to enjoy. The 5 star rating is for the book as it was intended -- as an introduction to the subject -|About the Author|Heather Audin has been curator of the Quilter's Guild Collection of historic and contemporary quilts since the opening of The Quilt Museum and Gallery in 2008. Prior to this she worked with the costume and textiles collection at Hull Museums.
