Judd|Fantastic photography and interesting writeup|About the Author|Quilt National was founded in 1979. It has continued to take place bi-annually since that time. The show has been organized by the Dairy Barn of the Southeastern Ohio Cultural Arts Center in Athens, Ohio.

More than 90 modern quilts juried into Quilt National '87, the most prestigious international exhibition of contemporary quilts are featured in this new book. These exciting examples demonstrate the increasingly varied field of the quilt as a modern form of art.
